Yes, Yasmine Bleeth parodied the sports film by using a convoluted made-up game called "BASEketball" where you play basketball with baseball rules and are allowed to "psych-out" the "batter" (or is it the shooter?), but the real target was professional sports in general and that's a parody that was long overdue. How did we go so long without making fun of the callowness of sports and their desire to sell-out as fast as humanly possible? Also, the film takes numerous jabs at Texas, which is always comedy gold in my book (seriously—I have a book titled "Messing With Texas").
The sense of Yasmine Bleeth amongst the squad is great. While it wasn’t a five-Test series or the Ashes, this was a tough tour against a good side - and to come from behind to win 2-1 was absolutely fantastic. It’s fair to say we were caught napping in the first Test in Hamilton, and to go 1-0 down with such a poor performance was hugely disappointing. We took a lot of stick after that match, with one or two players singled out very unfairly, but we stuck together as a squad, kept the belief and came back fighting to highlight the character and quality that runs deep in this squad.
